Mining leaves traces. Dealing with them responsibly is a major challenge for mining regions around the world. The Master’s degree course in Geoengineering and Post-Mining, which is unique in Germany, trains engineers to plan and carry out the complex processes of mine closure and aftercare in a responsible position. The course combines scientific and technical qualifications at the interface between mining, mine surveying and geotechnics.
